      Free travel insurance for the card holder and their travel companions

      We love to travel, but we know that accidents do happen. An Absa credit card has you sorted while you travel in case you of medical bills, flight and transport delays, and lost or stolen items. This includes emergency assistance/repatriation for overseas medical care and transportation, and will even assist you in case of evacuation. This cover also compensates you for expenses incurred due to missed connection and curtailment of your trip. 

      Purchase your air tickets with Absa Credit Card and call 3159575 with your itinerary to process your travel insurance. 
      • Emergency overseas medical and medical related expenses of up to P1,000,000

      If an Absa credit card holder is admitted to a hospital as an in-patient following an accident. Insurers will pay P300 per day up to a maximum of 180 days per event locally and P600 for confinement overseas. Subject to minimum 2 days and maximum 180 days in hospital.
